14" Johanna Eat 8" Endli Bichir?

thats tough to say. i think depends on how aggressive the pike is. i put a 7" senegal in with a 12" pike and it worked. i was always scared tho because the bichirs are so skinny that the pike could wrap its mouth around it. i think its worth a try tho.

It attempted to eat a 9" senegal. Already ate a 12" ropefish but those things are nothing for a pike to eat.

When you find out, are you going to panick and cry like how you posted when you saw the tuna being pulled in on the show you saw? :ROFL:
 
If it already ate both of those i dont know if it will work. I think the endli's are alittle thicker than the bichirs which could help. but im still leaning that it wont work.
 
i really wouldnt risk it because even if it can just fit its head in its mouth i would be worried. starve ur pike for a few days and then add it. that way u will kno if it can eat it because it will try right when u add it. if it doesnt even attempt then ur fine
 
I'd just grow the endi out a few more inches to be safe. Even if the pike can't completely swallow it, what he can get in his mouth will recieve a fair amount of damage.

Its a tough call, yours has a history of being a poly eater/abuser, so I'd go along with caution on this one.
