140 gallon stocking list

Just bought a 140 gallon...my first "monster" tank, and am curious if my stock list would work. As of now all of my fish are small and are in 2 55 gal. tanks. What I am planning on putting in the 140 is:

Jaguar
Dempsey
Vieja Fenestratus
Black Belt
Firemouth
Salvini
Maybe a convict or two
lace cat
marble sailfin pleco (may add one more cat and pleco)

Please let me know what you think. I have kept cichlids for a few years, but like I said this is my first monster tank.

no way. the jag when mature will need that tank alone let alone 5 other cichlids and a pleco and a catfish. youd be hard pressed to keep up with the water changes as thats a massive bioload. id remove thejag pleco and cat qnd your closer to being okay.

Cool. I was thinking the jag was too much, but i got him for free...a buddy bought it and decided he didn't want it.

Go with the JD, a GT, and a Cuban. Along with those do a school of SD as dithers. Good luck!

Fire eels are beautiful, yet they can be expensive. Not sure that it would work either in a 140 with those tankmates.
