I'm planning to set up a 140 to 150 gl tank divided with 2 medium sz flowerhorn's in it im choosing between 1-pc XP 4 or 2-pcs Aquaclear 110 I can't afford to have them all cause my bros just giving me a choi choice which one I want to get from his old stuff so need help with this one thanks.

If i was in your situation i would get the ac110's.
 
I would go with the two AC110s, then saveup and get a XP3 down the road.
 
I would start off with the XP4, you will get more filter media that way.

Latter on (when you have the cash) add a AC110.
 
I hope that the people who voted for the xp 4. Can also shed some reason anyway I was also thinking if it's the xp 4 to make the output tube longer by converting it? thanks.
 
On a tank that size your not going to be happy with the low current that you'll get with the xp4. At less then 200gph flow the mechanical filtration the xp4 provides is sub par. Don't get me wrong I love the xp3, which has almost the same flow as the xp4, but I use them strictly as bio filters. The combo of a single xp3 and a pair of AC110s is tops in my book.
