I have both seperated as the congo I just got last night. I had them together for a few hours and moved the delhezi when I went to bed just to be safe.

I know the congicus could eat the delhezi but will he? Is it a major threat or something that may happen.

It all depends on the congicus , i have a 40cm ornate and 18/20cm albino sen in the same tank for a few months now and they are ok, if a poly wants to eat a fish it will or it will kill it trying, my one endi killed my aba aba knife that was the same size as it, but could not eat it.

My polys are alway well feeded so i dont think they will eat there tank mate, you can try doing this with the cong and see what happen, its a risk you can take or just wait for the delhzi grows bigger and then put them together.

Hope this helps you,

It just depends on the fish itself and if you keep it well fed. Btw you should just ship me that Congicus! :D

I'm not sure its a congicus yet, it has some stripping it may be a lap but the stripes are light and it has some spotting on the tail.

He is reclusive I will do an ID thread when I can get some pics.

Thats the same thing I was thinking, my delhezi and endli could eat my ornate but I have no issues. I've only had this fish since tuesday so I'll need to figure out what his temperment is.
