well, today i woke up after cycling my tank and it was STILL yellow.

i looked at it and was utterly confused, my filter was making noise, the fish were swimming...then i looked at the filter intake, i tried taking it off, NOTHING , it wouldn't move at all. keep in mind this is in my planted tank, beware the plants!

after i had rinsed it out with hot water i found that a root structure that had been jammed in there. it had been growing for some time. has this happened to any of you?

I have had it happen on a neglected planted tank once or twice. Usually its a floating plant for me it gets sucked in the intake and stops the impellar. Im sure this can happen to a lot of planted tanks with strong HOBs
