An island somewhere......
I acquired this guy from a fellow MFK Hobbyist a few weeks ago. Tracing back the linage we think it came from Ruck Fules WC Pair. This guy is massive to say the least.... borderline obese in my opinion! This FOOTBALL measures 15" long, 6"+ tall and probably 2.5"-3" thick. His hump has gone down a tad since he was delivered but that should rebound when I find him a girlfriend.

It seems to be to short and tall. Kinda like a short body or a hybrid. It is a nice fish, but IMO it looks like it was stunted a bit in a narrow tank, causing body shaping deformities. Or it was a deformed fry and wasn't culled. For the height its body has it should be longer.

It's actually the contrary. This was one of 8 - 1" Fry that he bought and it was the dominate one, killing off most of its siblings. He was a solo fish kept in a 180g. tank all of it's life. The previous owner says it's about 1.5 years old.... I'm thinking it was just spoiled with food and well fed.
