$15 RD ZZ

I picked up my 2nd ever FH (last one I had was 6 years ago).

It is a RD ZZ and only cost $15 but I think it has potential. I will post progress updates in this thread.

We'll see how it turns out....

I think it is male based on dorsal length. The mouth is not perfect (bottom jaw longer than top) but overall, I like the look.

No matter what anyone says or think about what kind or what quality in their own minds, this is a nice fish.

Could be either sex tho. Hard to be sure at this stage.

Thanks guys I appreciate that. It was the most pearly in the tank, and the only one with the large flower on the head, I like that.

Not planning to breed it to anything, just curious how it would grow out to look.

The little black spot says maybe female but it could just be the flower line over lapping onto the dorso fin. Either way nice fish !

Thanks, man I was hoping for a male, but I guess we'll find out soon.

I am not a perfect judge on potential, but I would say that was a good deal on your part for $15.
