Just how bad would a 15" tall tank be for bamboo sharks? I have the opportunity to move my 1' and 2' bamboos into a 8x3x15" from my 180 and figured the tank would be better than what their in now, until I can upgrade to my pool.

I have always read/heard footprint is more important. I wonder the same as I had an opportunity to buy a 8'x4'x15" tank once and passed because I wasn't sure. I'd say if its cheap go for it. Better wait for Matt/Josh or someone else to chime in though.
shallower tanks with larger footprints are the way to go but your new tank would be a improvement until you get your pool
