15 years, time for a change

I have been in the hobby for 15 years and in that time I have kept a pair of oscars 8 years, Lyonsi 5 years, jags and midas for 2 years. I feel its time to try something other than sa/ca cichlids
My thoughts are for my 180 gal
4 Hepsetus odoe with synodontis decorus
or
6 Chalceus macrolepidotus with 4 Pimelodus blochii or 10 pictus
not sure which set up yet so any opinions or tips on the proposed set ups would be helpful

I personally like the African Pike setup, but the other setup with the Pims would be more active.

I like the idea of African pikes with Pimelodus. That would make a very busy tank.
