OK here is what I am planning.....

-150 gallon tank 72" x 18" x 26"
-30 gallon sump housing sponge then bioballs.
- 2 Aqua Clear 110's packed with bio max (or is sponge better?????)
- 2 aqua Clear 70 powerheads
- 80 lbs of live rock
- Crushed Coral substrate
-Normal Flourescent lighting 2 x 40watt bulbs

Anything wrong with this tank??? anyone think something will fail in this set up???

I want to house the following

-Naso Tang
-Bluespine Unicorn Tang
-Emperor Angel

I don't think I am even close to my stocking capacity... I would like some suggestions to go with my 3 so far.

ditch the emperor, moer trouble than it's worth and gets too big, i think. especially if you aren't an expert in SW. i would do a couple of anthias or a bass of some kind or lionfish.
as for the sump i like to put LR in there. nothing beats natures best.

you say not to keep a emperor???? are they really that hard to keep??? I love big fish and I love there colours. Are all angels like this or just the emperor??? is there any other large fish that are easy to keep??? Would a Clown Trigger kill my tangs???

emperors are, IMO, ONE OF the hardest ngels to keep.
Frenches, Korans, Xanthurus Cream Angelfish, Chrysurus, and Queens (i think) are easier. alot of angels are obligate coral and sponge eaters so they are hard to feed and tend to be finicky about water quality.
the clown trigger is one of the most agressive triggers there are. you can keep triggers with angels but i would get a niger or picasso.

butterflys are another good choice. but again, find one of the easier species.

ok well I for sure want the unicorn and naso tang... so lets say I scratch the emperor and try either a queen or a blue face angel, would that be better??? Now I understand the clown is the craziest trigger of the bucnh so which one would do fine with my tangs???? you mentioned a picaso and a niger, would they both be fine with tangs??? can two triggers go in together???

People keep telling me to remove the bioballs from the sump???? is this crazy because then all my bio filter would be in the hands of my 80 lbs of live rock in a 150 gallon. Plus the two aqua clears with biomax. If the sump is not gonna have any filtration media then why exactly do I even bother having one????

do they tell you to replace them with anything or just remove it? romoveing is dumb, replacing is probably best. i like LR in sumps because it works really good and some copes and amps grow and are sucked into the tank to feed the fish, with out a lot of LR in the show part of the setup.
i wouldn't mix triggers. it's really iffy, but it all comes down to the indvidual fish. if they did fight the pic would pick on the niger as it gets bigger than teh niger does.

ya a lot of sites people say remove it and run it empty lol ???? I laugh i'm like why bother having a sump then. But they believe in having like 2lbs per gallon of live rock and then having a bigger sump and bigger refuge then the actual display tank:screwy: I don't get these people. None of them will really tell you there explaination for why.... they just say its better.

world full of idiots.

someone has to be our lawers.

Duh did you idiots (since thats what your calling people) ever think it helps because it adds more water to the system. As you like to tell people the bigger the tank the better. Ille agree ide rather chuck some lr in the rather then have it empty but its def not stupid to have a SW setup with an empty sump as its still alot better then not having one.
Plus the fact you can hide everything in it.
