Hi fellow MFKers,

I am Bob, and live in Singapore, weather is warm most of the time around the year. Average Temperature is around 28-30 and humid.

The tank dimension is 176 x 58 x 58 cm after subtract 1 cm glass thickness made by JEBO. Approximately 150g.

Project started on 1st Jan 2012.

I started with sticking styrofoam sheets to sides, back and bottom of the tank, including sticking 2 small glass tank to both side of the tank. One is for overflow and one is for return pipes.

Day: 1
1" thick styro sheets glued to sides and back. 1/2" sheet for bottom.

Hey guys, thanks.
@Aquaticfan, I thought he/she was a jag. Can you help me id?

Certainly.

Its for sure a parachromis family like the Jag. But this one looks to be a motas. Would need a better side shot pic if possible. Looks to be a female

Definitely not a jag, that's either a really nice female loisellei or a really pregnant RTM. I'm leaning towards mota too but that's the fattest one I've ever seen lol

I was also going to say possibly loisellei. But from this angle the pattern looks wrong. Kinda whu I'd like a side shot.

KingofKings55 suggests she is female Parachromis loisellei.

What do you think Aquaticfan?

Fat? I say bloated. She is far most greediest chchlid I have ever seen.
She grabs most food pallets I drop until can't close her mouth like there is no tomorrow.

parachromis loisellei was my other thought as I posted above. Unfortunately from the angle we had its hard to say.

BUT after your side shot picture I'm going to say you have a nice looking parachromis loisellei aka "Yellow Jacket"
