I HAVE A 150 GALLON TANK- 48 INCHES LONG - 24 INCHES WIDE AND - 30 INCHES HIGH. WHAT TYPE OF RAYS MIGHT BE SUITABLE? I WOULD LIKE TO RAISE A BREEDING PAIR. THANKS.

Maybe some teacup rays, that'd be pushing it, but I'd do it.

scobina, retic, and hystrix pretty much thats it, and retics are pushing it because of there really long tails. scobina your not gunna find, and hystrix will be hard to find, if you can try getting something atleast 30" wide
:)

you will be okay for a year or so with a juvi ray. After that sell the ray. Or get a bigger tank. Goodluck

I agree, you should be ok for a year to two years if you buy a young ray of a smaller species. Be prepared to upgrade and don't assume it will be easy to rehome if you want to. I have a pair of 8" rays in a 48x24 footprint tank, which they've been in for 2 years but they are at the limit now and are going to be moved to a bigger tank soon.
