150 galllon ideas??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
there are tons of options for that size tank just depends on what you like, do you want a more aggressive community or a more peaceful community where you wont have to worry so much about fighting? if it were my tank i would do a nice school of geos of some type With a rotkeil severum pair or maybe atabapo, or males of several different types of sevs (jut have to grow out a group and keep the mildest mannered males)

yeah coming up with new stock ideas for an empty tank is always fun, going the aggression route i would do an all male tank with a carpintis vonethillo, breidhori (not that aggressive but can hold its own from what i hear, havent kept one personally but love their colors), and maybe lyonsi or something like that, or could even do a carpintis with a midas and something else, kind of drawing a blank right now lol, thinking on strep throat meds not the best haha

thats kinda was what i was thinking of doing. like an amphilophus, vieja, herichthys and maybe a smaller parachromis as i have a la ceiba male growing out that i like. thanks for the input

There is a lot you could do. Check my signature of my 125 gallon. So far it is working for me. Could do something along that route. Midas, texas, Gt, couple salvini. I love this selection of fish. Suppose you could put some type of parachromis in too. I don't know if a jag is really a "smaller" p.chromis or not but it's temperament should work with this type of stock. Good luck! And post picks when ya get it going.
