well
came home from work running co workers around all day (someone voodooo hexed all our cars luckily i have dad's)
and GUESS WHAT
bathroon light wouldn't turn on, bedroom light wouldn't turn on, i said hmm
went down to my fish room to find 70 gallons of watter on the floor
i found a sphon to siphon the rest into the sump looked under the tank
BIG crack all across the bottom
of course that was where i was storing my biggest vieja from Rapps

Oh and the water was running into the surge protector and tripped the breaker
Glad for the electric upgrade
so i needed to unplug that thing
but i was thinking hmm
decapitation vs electrocution this could suck:WHOA:
so i went turned off that circut and pulled on the end of the cord like your not supposed to until the thing came unplugged

fish are much easier to catch when they don't have any water
so they all went in another tank together
sadly i would probly win the overcrowding contest right now just when i want to have everything arranged in low biomass
oh well life is a work in progress

oh and another thing
i was taking fish down to coral reef because i do store credit with them and he just got me my new baby blue:headbang2
basically extra angels or anything that pisses me off or the odd fellows out of groups once i get pairs
anyway
a big F*****G pain of glass fell of a truck in fron of me onto 95:eek:
hitting three other cars ahead of me before shattering into daggers
(still dad's car) my truck is dead
no damage to me but i'm like hmm is this like the OMEN or what?
if i had a kid i'd shave it's head and see if he had a tattoo
oh ... wait... i have a nephew
maybe i better call my sister and tell them i'm broke and all i own is fish
OHHH and my house .... which they like.... HMMM
or maybe i better call my other sister and find out if there are any packages on the way.....

Damn, that's a lot of water :(

Good luck. Use this opportunity to upgrade (so that you can have even more water in your living room - but behind glass).

actually i asked a few people and they said it was most likely not even since the crack was on the bottom
since it's in my basement on a slab that sucks
someone will take the tank for a reptile cage, and the best suggestion i had was to put styrefoam on the bottom of the tankss to offset any tilt or to shim them

I think the planets are out of phase or some dark voodoo is associating itself to the new "Dresden Files" wizard series. I was filling a 285 yesterday when the side blew out as the water level reached 3" from the top of the tank. Started filling it and went into the house to make dinner. Made it, ate it, and cleaned up before going back to the hatchery. I no sooner walked in the door before hearing a quick "tick...tick". Didn't even have time to let out an "Aw..$___" before the dam burst. There's definitely some black jou-jou afoot.
