Here's some pics of my 150g. Went with sand, even though I swore I'd never do sand again:screwy: The current tennents are & clown loaches, 4 yo yo loaches, 3 blue botias, a dozen severum growouts, a couple of danios and a young FM pair(which have seemed to lose all their color with the white sand).

Also this tank is home to my tire track eel, he didn't want to be part of the photo shoot. I estimate the eel's length to be 21-22". I also will be moving my black aro to this tank.

Love the new look. Decorated just enough, with tons of open swimming space.

light sand seems to have that effect on many fish and firemouths seem to be one of the worst.

Other then the colors washing out a little, that tank looks awesome along with all of its tenets. What size are all the loaches?

Is that pool filter sand?

The sand is Quickcrete comrcial grade medium sand, arena mediana #1962. I got it at Home Depot 100 lbs cost 7 bucks. It was very clean and didn't require any washing.

The dimensions are 96" x 18" x 21", Like having 2 standard 75g end to end.

The loaches all range 4-6" in length.
