150 gallon stock list?

I am getting a 150 gallon aquarium with over flow and a 35 gallon sump. The dimensions are 4' by 2' by 30". I currently have an Oscar in a 55 gallon and he will be moving to the 150. The Oscar is very mellow and non aggressive with other fish. I have been wanting a clown knife and a fire eel would those two work with him?

I would probably avoid the clown knife, they get very large. The eel might be okay but they are great escape artists and can fit through the smallest cracks. A common pleco would be okay. You might think about possibly adding another oscar. It kind of depends on the disposition of your oscar. I can put just about anything in with mine, and he doesn't seem to mind at all (even fish much smaller). If you're looking for a bottom feeder, a four line pimelodella makes a nice addition and they get moderately large.

I would majority rethink your stock... a clown knife will definitely outgrow the tank and a fire eel may too. The pleco (I assume you mean common pleco) will fit in the tank but they are not exactly an ideal fish, they are unattractive looking and leave long strings of crap all over the tank, and will rarely eat any algae on your glass when large.

how bout a black ghost knife instead of a clown????
i think they look 10x better and they are smaller then clowns.
maybe a royal plec instead of a common there smaller or even a green or blue phantom they stay around 9in

Thanks for the info. I thought the Ck would be to big but wouldn't the Black ghost be beat up by the SA Cichlids? I guess i don't know what i realy want. What about Datioids? Or pike Cichlids?
