i have in my tank
2 oscars around 10 inch mark
1 jaguar<poss male<bulging head developing>7 inch mark
1 green terror<female>5inches>never grown more>
1 jack dempsey<female>5-6inches>
1 severum<male<6-7inches>
1 gibbcep<unknown<26inches>
1 hoplo<unknown<5inches>
1 candy plec<unknown<3inches>can never catch it to move it...still alive>
ok the question........iam looking to upgrade to a poss 300+ gallon tank but this looks to be round january time.....
do you guys think its possible to buy more cichlids now and keep happy in this tank<no fighting at present.....
want to get them together why they are still young fish....
reading the overstocking thread for south/central americans and made me think it could actually be possible

. Ewok has it down to the tee. You could but most of the time crowding CA's won't work. I mean you can do it, but you definately lose some fish. I say when you get your 300 put a drip system on it and crowd the hell out of it. I love when big tanks have lots of CA's but only when they are kept healthy and in tip top shape.
