I needed a way to seperate my bigger Oscar from the new smaller oscars I was planning on purchasing but I couldn't find anything to divide a 150 gallon tank. So after looking at what they were selling at my local petsmart I decided to just build my own.
It cost less than 10 dollars. you'll need about 10ft of pvc pipe (1/2 inch) a couple of elbows and a piece of lace fabric to use a net.
I included a few pics. It's pretty simple and I'm pretty sure this has been done before.
There use to be two of the tiger oscar but one use to be brave and swim between the glass and the pipe to the other side and get chased to the other side by the albino until one day he got stuck. He never made it back. And from the looks of things the other learned from the brave one's mistake.
