I am looking at purchasing a 150 gallon tank with a footprint of 48x24x30 Just wanted to know if this is a good footprint for an oscar ? and i am getting the tank for 150 if thats a good deal or not lol just wondering ?

They mostly swim around peacefully as couples, more like they are window shopping. They aren't as physical as some species that might require a longer tank versus taller. The depth of the tank is nice...they swim mostly near the top, but will sometimes drop down and patrol the structure before heading back towards the top.

With 7 tanks, 2 Huskies, 3 cats and a young daughter, feeding time is a bit nutty around here![]()
