150 gallon tank Reseal

just got this its about 12 years old never had a reseal job on it ever!
so now its my job to reseal this while I'm sick as a dog lol

Is it leaking? Like they say, if its not broke, don't fix it! If you are just wanting to apply a new bead of silicone to the inside that is not a huge deal, just have to make sure it is super clean so it can adhere right. You most likely know but just in case, make sure it is 100% silicone (no added chemicals).

I recently got a 150 as well, was told it had a leak (why I got it cheap! ) but after checking it out more, I believe it was just water condensation on the lid running down the side.

lol yeah well i bought it for 100$ with stand and light no filter or canopy told me it had a leak in the front said it needed a reseal already did the process of taking the silicone off and watched the one you tube video seems like the guy knows what hes talking about but the main thing is i only got it for 100$ and was not going to pass up on that deal Lol

Ah, then your on the right track! $100 for a 150 is not bad for just the tank, let alone with stand and light (providing they are in good shape).

What are your plans for it once it is holding water?

oh yeah the stand and light work perfectly i like them might have to do a little rehab to the stand to make it stronger cause i want the substrate to be sand which might be a little more heavier also I'm going to try and find that one fish called (widerbar) or the datnoid. but as of right now i have my gar that's going in there also my catfish two TSN's and one Lima and then the two clown knifes along with the jurapari the all of them are under a foot so they will be happy lol and monday i should have this done
