I am getting a 150 gallon tank in the next couple of weeks, wondering what I can put in with my male dovii (6in) and female dovii (4 1/2 in). I also have 1 common pleco. I know I will have to get a much larger tank in the long run but for now this is the best I can do.

search "dovii tankmates" in the search tool at the top right of the forum and you will get your tank mates answer. i can tell you now that the answer is nothing unless the tank is in the many hundreds of gallons and then some. but eventually it will all end in tears in the vast majority of cases, your pair alone will need possibly 240+ US gallon. i know this because i have just this week reseached the exact same thing.
i would say nothing from what ive learnt about fish
i have a 150us 5ft/2ft/2ft with 2 oscars had a vieja who beat crap out of the oscars so i sold the vieja at 7-8inches and my male jag 10-11inches had started to go for the oscars,,,and doviis are ment to be more aggro than these fish,,,also you have a breeding pair,,,that should ideal be the only things in the tank if you want the fry to survive

Only peopel who would dare put tankmates with doviis in a 150 have never seen a full grown dovii in person...
