150 gallon vs 210 gallon

So I have 2 Oscar’s and 2 bichirs. Should I upgrade them to a 150 gallon (72”x 18” x 29”) for about $850 usd or go with the 210 (72”x24”x29”) for $1100 usd

I'm assuming this is a glass tank, hence the hesitancy to carry downstairs. If so, get the 150 (your backs will thank you later), and have a sump next to it for an increase in water volume.

I would use the money difference on a container that will act as a sump for the tank. You don't have to buy the prefabricated sumps. duanes has had elaborate sump setups in the past using different containers like a water barrel.
