$1500 Midas?

This is getting silly! No way I would pay that for this fish. Judge not a fish by its KOK (Yoda?).

Anyway, I think at a certain point the size of the kok detracts form the overall appearance of the fish. The colours on the fish are nothing to write home about either. I may be a little biased but I prefer my Midas to this one.

Don't even get me started about the $5000 Umbi. :screwy:

OH WHAT $1500 thats £850 NO WAY would i pay that ... ever !!
 
Apparently that's how everyone feels...since no one has bid on it, and I am guessing no one ever will.
 
Yeah, that's an insane price. I can buy a baby Midas from PetSmart for $7.00
I don't even like the nuptial hump on that guy, just a bit to large for my taste.
 
Maybe for Flowerhorn breeders it is worth it.
 
Maybe for a FH but no way for a midas.....In the asian culture a FH is considered a symbol of wealth and good fortune(luck).....So i could understand a rich asian man spending thousands of dollars on a beautiful FH but never on a regular midas.
 
I have trouble spending that much money on a car!
