Hey folks,

Just wondering if this stocklist is compatible for a growout 150g, dimensions 5x2x2. Will end up in a 6/7ft long,3ft wide,2ft tall tank in 1-2yrs depending on growth etc.

So here are the crew :

Porky puff
Picasso Trig
Clown Trig
Whiteband Trig/niger/bluethroat
1x eel prefer Snowflake eel but up for any suggestions
Blue Tang
Flame Angel
Emperor Angel(also up for suggestions here on the angels if not compatible)
2 Maroon Clowns

Would get them all as small as possible say 2" or less. Think its more fun watching them grow up :)

Im not sure how the clown would get on with the rest. Ive had a clown trig before with a maroon trig that picked on everything else in the tank but managed to tame them both with the big net method and they never picked on the rest of the fish again but may not always work so was thinking have a spare 35/50g quarantine tank just incase.

Anyways whats yall expertise thoughts on this ? ;D

Hmm...I personally would not put so many in a 150, a 150 really is not that big for all of those fish. Not to mention this would be a pretty aggressive tank...I guess it could be done with a large skimmer and large sump/refuge! :naughty:

heh heh that would be chancing it i guess, relooking at that stocklist even if temporary.

How about this :

Porky puff
Picasso Trig
Clown Trig
Blue Tang
Flame Angel/Emperor Angel
Maroon Clown

If get them at 2inch mark they should be no bigger than 7" in a yr where i could upgrade to the 6/7x3x2 :D

that looks pretty good to me...I am not to familiar with trigger behavior so I don't know of they would be aggressive with each other. If I were you I would substitute out one of the triggers or angels for a miniatus grouper...but that's just me. I love those guys.

General rule of thumb is that you buy the tank, then the fish...but I will trust that you will be responsible if you go ahead and get all these critters.

When those two triggers see each other...its going to be the "Thrilla in Manilla". Someone is going to get KO'ed.

Maroons can bully fish much larger than they are, I never really recommend them for anything but species tanks.

Your flame angel...might be too small to defend itself from larger, more aggressive tank mates.

Your diodontidae puff is also susceptible to bullying. Many people suggest that puffers are kept as "FO" tanks.
