I just put up my 150G that I have been working on refurbishing. Im stocking it with 2 motaguense at 4-5 inchs, 1 managuense 5 at inchs and a common pleco. At the moment things are fine, normal squaring off and displaying. I know at their current size that the tank size is fine. My question is at what size should I seperate them? Maybe if they grow together I might get away with 2 in the same tank at full size? Ultimately I know im going to have to just watch them and wait and see based on their temperment but I thought I might get a few opinions.

Thanks in advance!

I put a 2in. jag in a 120gal with a Jack dempsey pair, convict pair, and a firemouth. He disappeared for a while. I figured he was eaten. Then one day he reappeared about 3in. bigger. then he took over. He owned the tank. All the other fish stuck together in a corner. The convicts were the only brave ones to stand up for themselves sometimes. But by the time the jag hit six inches he had to be separated.
