150G SA/CA Stock Help

I have a 150 and want to make it into a CA/SA tank. I have one midas, one carpintis, one little red hump eartheater, and two little salvinis. All are about 2" right now. The carpintis is about 4-5". I was thinking about adding another couple little texas, jaguars, or buttis. I really like the buttis, but how long before they would start messing w/ the other fish? I know that they get mean, but dont know how long before they do. They would be the same size, about 2" also...
 
If I'm not mistaken, which is possible that I am because I've never kept one or done that much research on them, the butti is an african fish. And as I understand there are quite a few african species that require different water parameters than the ca/sa cichlids.

Like I said, I could very well be mistaken and someone far more experienced than myself will offer you better advice.

Yes, it is African. I forgot about that, but that might work out better actually. I can put him in my empty 75. I wonder what out of the other fish would grow the quicket....
 
I would try a go with 1 jag. There may be to much con specific aggression with your carpintis if you go with 2 more texas.
 
I like the little jags. Can't decide between a carpintis and a cyano. they have both. So you dont think I should add one more salvini as I already have two? They had one nice little jag up there that I'll probably go get this weekend.
 
u have really cool choices to choose from. gl. u should still get a butti just in another tank i heard they can be pretty kewl !!
