Well, I was gonna stock my 150g (72x18 footprint) with sa/ca cichlids and bottom dwellers, but I think I may change my mind. Any good ideas? Filtration now is 2 xp4's and will more than likely add an Fx5. Thanks for your ideas

u sold the best options for it :P

i was actually possibly thinking about getting back into that! i still think its cutting it a bit short on size for the gars, but i dont know yet!

well if you wanted just a normal community type setup, you could go for a large shoal of tetras and a pearl gourami or 2? its a huge tank so you could do heaps. an arowana is cool too (:

I like Sa/Ca cichlids along with some pimelodid cats and/or bichirs. Which cichlid species are you considering?

i have 2 small oscars, 4 jacks and 4 green terrors. i was gonna grow them out and pick out all the males ( possibly get rid of the two oscars). i was thinking about that plus pimelodid cats too. any species you would recommend? i sort of wanna do a biotype. at least keep the same continent

You're 100% right. 150 is pretty big, but definitely not huge by MFK standards. Not nearly large enough for an aro
