Either Geophagine would work, but S. daemon reaches about a ft long, so the Tapajós (smaller) might be better.
S daemon are also more finicky about water parameters, preferring pH 4-6, and no hardness, so if your tap water is even remotely hard, and higher pH, the Tapajós would be better in that respect too.
The daemon are very prone to bloat and hole in the head when put in mineral rich water.
Of course if your water is soft and mineral free, there is no concern.
