Ok i need a quick tank build, if there is such a thing, and cheap, i have room for a 4lx3wx2h, now i have the 10mm glass for 2 sides from a tank i pulled apart, also fibreglass bandage of 4 inch wide to do the corners and seams.
I was thinking that as its only a small build towards most, would i get away with using a 18mm ply all glued and screwed without bearers, then do the seams / corners with the grp bandage,,and then use Dechlorinated rubberised paint all over, i can get this in the UK which is suitable for pools/ponds etc.
I need to ask the supplier yet if the silicone will stick well enough to the rubber paint.
Your thoughts please.
