Anybody interested in this? It's not mine, but one on craigslist. I was going to buy it, but I backed out on the guy at the last minute, because he told me initially that it was only a 10-gal tank and 5' long, but then called me last minute to tell me that it's 6' long. It unfortunately wouldn't have fit in my vehicle. Great deal, and I'd love it, except I have no way to bring it home with me. He said you just can't fill it any higher than an inch from the top, since there's a crack there.

That's a time bomb, just waiting to soak your floors and kill your fish!

I agree with this. Especially with a tank of such a large volume, you want no imperfections in the glass. Bump for those risk takers though...

It would make a great reptile tank.

Actually, his original ad mentioned nothing about the crack. He failed to mention it the first time when I called him about it too. He only mentioned it when I called him the morning of when I was supposed to pick it up. He was like, "Oh, I forgot to mention that there's a crack..." and that's when he also told me that he measured it to be 6' long... Don't know if it's true or not but he said he had it set up as a reef tank for about 2-years with the crack with no problems, but who knows with craigslist people...

And he supposedly has a really nice canister filter for it. He was originally asking $250 for it, and when I asked if we would take $150 for it, he said he would without the filter. Supposedly the filter cost him more money than the tank and stand.

this tank would be an awesome score. i would if i could, but i already have a 180, 125, and 90, and i think my parents would kill me if i got another tank that big...
