I am picking up a 150gallon tank at the end of the week (5ft x 2ft x 2ft) and Im wondering about what kind of fish I would like to have in it.
I was hoping on getting few young jack dempseys and grow them into a breeding pair and begin breeding my own jds but after reading on the net for awhile im wondering if i did decide to breed jack dempseys could I have any other fish in there too (due to size of tank and aggression when spawning)? Such as breed convicts as well?
if not, can anyone suggest to me a list of compatible fish that are personable (various sizes) and possibility of breeding?
im interested in breeding jds, convicts, firemouths, and severums. any more suggestions?
