thats very interesting. ive heard that they max at 5" or so. how many of them do you have? i was looking at some for a while at the lfs, but im worried about my plants.
then again, SDs are definitely in my top 10 favorite fish ever....

if youre looking at wild caught, you could take armatus into consideration i believe.

oh yes i beleive in medellin colombia there are alot of stunning fish, will build up collection slowly but surely, hehe
also like them wolf fish which are quite common there

yes my dollars around 7inch disc id guess,,tanks 5ft/2ft/2ft...it eats all the floating plants i add in around two days, usually cover the top with duckweed,id love to have a shoal of them mind there sexy, but it actually attacks and owns in the tank

dang, i never would have guessed. yours seems very unique. have you ever tried adding hornwort or tieing anubias to a piece of wood? or has it eaten those as well?
