15Gal Marine setup

Hey guyz i was thinkin abt turning my small 2'x1'x1' freshwater tank into a marine tank.
uptil now i only kept freshwater fishes in my three tanks.
I basically want to keep small Lion Fish in it.
Wht equipments(filters....) and other stuff like sand and stones would I need.
anyone alredy having a lion fish,PLZ HELP!!!!
And can i keep two lion fishes together??
Wht will be good tankmates????
I hv also heard that i would not require protein skimmers 4 such a small tank....
All you EXPERIENCED ppl out there,PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!

to cramped for a lion fish you could do some cool nano fish though

IMO that's a pretty tough sized tank to start SW with, not a lot of room for error as opposed to a larger sized tank, like 75+.

way to small... at least a 40g for the smallest types, the zebra lion, or the fuzzy lion. Try some other small SW fish.
