i'm 30days into a cycle and have been using a powerhead type thing which is way to powerfull for the tank size, it was for my 100gallon tank but created to many little bubbles. So i want to get one to suit my tank size with no little bubbles. sooo any suggestions? I'm looking to buy it today sometime so any quick advice would be helpful.

go to fragglereef and see if they've got any nano-pumps in stock. they push about 250gph and are tiny and only $6ea, as long as they don't quit on you they are awesome little pump, i killed both of mine by getting the powersupply wet.

They sell powerheads just for nanos i would sugest that. But if you cant find one of those (i will go look) i would say to do some where in the 250 gph range dont know what that is in metrics

go with koralia's. They are great and spread the current so its not as direct. Prevents a lot of the sand going all over the place. Also does not inject a lot of bubbles into the tank. Im not sure if they would ship to england or not, but you may be able to find a location that has something similar in your area.

oooooooh i've seen those! ok i'm gonna go get it now. thanks guys!

i bought it for £25 lol thats $50......i hate living in england.

But since the pound is worth aprox. twice the dollar, a vacation in the US would be pretty cheap for you. ;)

Oh, by the way, to keep the other one from making the tiny bubbles, just plug the venturi. It is that little hole on the top at the water line.
