first i would like to say that i am just judging interest on this. i havent decided if i really want to let him go. with him comes a 300 gallon stock tank. its got a 5-5.5 foot diameter and is about 3 feet deep. the top foot has been cut off and siliconed on though (couldnt get it into the basement otherwise). also a pond master 1250 filter/pump. an 800 watt titanium heater and thermostat. i also have a very used eheim canister filter mainly for water movement around heater. comes with cinder blocks that the tank is on. also bricks in the tank that hold filters and heater down. i'll throw in a clamp light. this is in wisconsin area. just north of milwaukee. no shipping! the turtle is 8.5 yrs old almost. im not good at guessing weight but id say 20-30 pounds. like i said, this is more to guage interest as i have not decided if im gonna let him go or not. im thinking 1500 cash. please post if you think im high or low on the price and what you think its worth. i'll go get links from past post in the reptile forum with pics. mos tthe pics are a yr old. i'll try to get some new ones in the next day or two. thanks

wow as in nice turtle, or wow as in to high?
 
yeah.. but in the upper midwest where they arent found these are rare. ive see a couple 8 inch ones over the yrs going for 350 in my area.
 
I think youd be lucky to get $500. If I were you and you dont NEED to sell him Id keep him. He is such a beautiful animal and youve had him for so long.

Im on the fence about buying a leusistic one myself!
 
yeah, i really dont want too. thats why i set the price high. i might really consider it if someone paid the 1500 or around there. im in a crunch for money though.
