hey guys, I believe it's been close to 8months since i updated my fahaka. last time he was around 13-14inches. now he's 16.5inch exactly. Anyone have a bigger one? I have never seen a bigger one than me. Only heard of.

oh yea, and how do you tell the sex on these? is mine a female or male?

The tank size is around 135 due to short height, but the dimensions are same as 180gallon.
6x2x20inches high or so.
 
Awesome Puffer!!! What A Showpiece!!

I'm afraid sexing them is nearly impossible. I had a supplier once tell me how they can sell sexed wild-caught adults. He said the females are the ones with multiple bite wounds just behind their gills. That's where the males hang on during spawning. The males are the ones with chipped and broken teeth from where the thrashing females fight to get the biting males off of them.
