What's a good price for a pair of 16" azuls. I'm buying them and I just wanted to check prices. They haven't breed before but I wanna try. Lmk

GOING RATE IS $350 FOR ONE AT THAT SIZE. A MEMBER HERE HAS THREE LEFT FOR SALE 1200 FOR THE TRIO. BUT IF YOUR GETTING MALE AND FEMALE CONFIRMED PEOPLE WILL BUMP UP THE PRICE BY SAYING ITS A POSSIBLE BREEDING PAIR...BUT ANY MALE FEMALE IS POSSIBLE BREEDING PAIR. GOOD LUCK BREEDING THEM...
There hasnt been any 2" wc babies for sale at all in the last 2+years. Havent really been any f1's on the market at that size either. 5-7" wc azuls are available right now @280 each. But getting a fresh from the wild fish can cause problems for the newbie cichla keeper. A member in socal has some lg ones for $350ea which is an amazing deal!
So id say anywhere from $700-900 is fair for the male and female. If they already had succesful spawns the price would be 2x that. BUt just a m/f shouldnt cost much more IMO.

I bought 2x 7" from Jeff Rapps for $560 total and when one died from parasites I bought another 2x from Dan Ye for $570 ish total. Starting to regret not just buying the ones from jlnguyen74, but he didnt want to ship at that time and I wasn't fancying a drive.
