I just acquired a 9" dorado I wasn't prepared for, and the tank I want to put him in has a 14-16" brycon in it and a 12" mala wolf. What do you guys think will he be ok or don't risk it?

Dorados are very tough fish and may be able to hold his own. Some species of Brycon are also quite aggressive. They may end up shoaling together. What fish are you concerned about?

The dorado, the brycon is kind of massive compared to him, and the brycon is pretty aggressive he's killed 5 other fish

You may have one of my old dorado. Did it come from Nathan? He certainly wasn't the most aggressive dorado I've kept but they don't back down easily. Give it a shot they would look good swimming together. Worst case scenario you will just have to remove him.

Yup that was my dorado I'm guessing seeing as how I just got a bolt catfish that I wasn't prepared for neither and Jeff said he accidentally sent my dorado to a guy in Ohio. He said he hasn't done this in years.

No I've had him since he was 1.5ins he grew extremely fast its a brycon melanopterus(I think)

Yes sir it is yours but my order wouldve still been wrong because I ordered a vulture cat not a bolt cat.

Sorry I saw you were from Ohio and I sold a dorado not long ago. If Jeff made a mistake he'll fix it for you.
