I have 3 raphael catfish, 4 corys, pleco, and a freshwater dolphin, all are still very small, not over 1", except the 2" dolphin and pleco. I feed these guys bloodworms only, and they do make alot of waste (poo) in the tank. Sometimes I forgot to clean that waste, but on the next day the bottom tank always clean. Could the the corys and the raphael cat have eaten those waste (poo)?

What filtration do you have? Is it a bare bottom tank?

You might find that with all the fish being bottom dwellers they stir up the bottom enough to lift the waste for the filter to pick it up. In that case, make sure you keep your filters clean.

a bit hard to describe the filtration that I have here, it can pumps 900L/hour, it also has a bio chemical filter; its a bit small, but so far the water never clouds, maybe just the way I place the filter in the tank. But again I added more corys in the tank, so I have 10 in total, they eats like weeds and I even saw them eating those waste, so the bottom tank always clean. And yes I do keep the tank bare bottom with pipes for hiding place.

Keeping the tank bare bottom will help with keeping it clean. The fish will stir up the waste with their usual activity and the filter is most likely sucking it up.

As for the cories "eating those waste", I dont think they were actually eating it. They were more than likely sifting through it for scrap bits of food.

Do you have any pics of the tank?

I'll posts pict as soon as I finish cleaning the tank and get my camera ready, its made of acrylic
