I have the opportunity to buy a 16" ornate bichir from my LFS. Problem is, the bichir was brought in by another customer and is used to eating feeders only. Is it possible to get this bichir onto massivore delight or will it target the other fish in my tank?

Usually not too hard. May need to go a day or too w/o eating but can be done. Can always try with frozen pieces of fish with pieces of massivore in it if at first doesn't like the pellets by itself. But most bichirs will eat prepared foods. Offer a variety of foods and it shouldn't be an issue and will be able to make the conversion.

Yes it can, but until it is with it's size any smaller fish will be at risk. Especially if you decide to starve it. However at that large of a size unless you have another tank to separate him into to get him off of live fish or a tank to separate your smaller fish to I would just constantly have food available (something like everyday or every other day feeding until he is off of live). If you try and starve it won't really care, it'll just go after anything that moves like it's used to doing.
