I came across a guy on craigslist selling a few of his fish. One of them was a 16" tiger shovelnose. He says that it has "slight" gill curl. I personally do not know a thing about gill curl. My question was, is $75 a fair price for this?

There was a guy with a 24 inch tsn for $100 near me.
I have no idea what gill curl is...So, can't help you there
But I agree with aclock. :naughty:

IMO $75 is far from a good deal. Depends on where you live though and how often these fish are available. Gill curl is a defect which occurs in fish when they are kept in to small of an aquarium. That's usually the cause of gill curl. You can't fix it usually unless you do an operation on the said fish.
