Decided to try my luck and add the Chirax gibbosus to the 160, as they showed no aggression towards other fish in the quarantine tank, and only chased each other around probably from limited space. About a month later and everybody is doing great. Also added the biggest of 3 ABFs, and the albino Senegal. Absolutely no aggression from the chirax, no aggression between the two bichirs, and everybody is getting plenty of food. The ABF will eat almost anything I dangle in front of his face, minnows krill frogs worms crickets etc., and he doesn’t spook anymore when I open the lid. Next up is getting the two smaller ABFs to put some size on and eventually go in the big tank. Built a floating barrier out of styrofoam and added some floating plants that have doubled in quantity, but plan on replacing it with some other type of floating structure as I noticed the albino bichir trying to nibble on it. Thinking about getting some long thin driftwood and mounting it to the lid of tank, making it look like tree roots growing down in the water. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Enjoy a couple pictures
