most giant gouramis in tanks top out around 2ft if not less! theres always importing the fish yourself, on aquabid.com there are vendors that export worldwide from thailand and get most fish if you ask!

IMO,i think the 16 inch height limits you to fish that are not tall-bodied.rainbows for a school someone suggested,the clown loach also better in groups,can occupy the bottom.pikes have a long profile

I think that one 4ft long red tail cat and two 3ft long shovelnose's wouldnt look soo sweet... Tank is just 24" (2ft ?) wide. Or did I read about wrong species?

What are those rainbows, can you use scientific names? Clown loach is very popular fish in here, something more special would be nice.

rainbow fish is the common name.they have a few varieties.bosmani,red,australian.Rainbowfish (M. boesemani)
