Scored an used 16g Biorb yesterday. Just a impulse grab it came with three goldfish which I'm currently actively trying to get rid of. Showing me already what a pain it is to even maintain it on the 2nd day. The filteration system is POS.
Once its empty completely. I was thinking of many different ways to rig it up to make it easier for maintence and actually have real plants in there and not worry about moving anything to switch out the filter. Rig up a sump system with a central inflow system and hide all of the equipment in the sump tank such as a heater etc and loop in the outflow by a waterfall design to make it a dual purposed system for my cats to enjoy watching the fish and drinking out of the waterfall.
Anyone has any suggestions?
