C'mon, guys! Can't we have a relaxed, friendly discussion after all, please? Don't we get enough stresses and stressors outside of our hobby that we want to enjoy?

Your exercise in logic and debate is impressive but imho unnecessary. You've already stated all that was needed quite a few pages back.

Soap does not accumulate in a normally run fishtank. At least silly me don't think so.

Trace amount of soap is undesirable but not lethal. Soap is deactivated (taken out of the water = precipitated) by the hardness ions in the water - Ca and Mg - and forms a chemical that is known as soap scum.

Soap is biodegradable in nature, not sure about a fish tank (may need sun UV light, IDK).

Soap is taken out with WC's.

A well washed container can be safe and probably is safe although as pointed out can be an unnecessary risk factor, esp. in sloppy hands. So it's a judgment call. There is not much to argue about.

Breath, guys! In and out. 10 slow, deep ones :) Don't go fast, you'll pass out.

PS BTW My years in the hobby (hardcore) have been a measly 8-9. I'd not count anything before that. I have always been an avid fisherman and a scientist (chemist) but while it helps it is of secondary / tertiary importance. Years in the hobby count when someone is earnest and passionate and capable of learning, imho. FWIW.

Juts on the outside glass/acrylic though, right? You don't spray Windex on the INSIDE of your tanks, do you?
All I use on the inside is an algae scrubber.

Same here. I also wash hands between tanks etc. Always helps :)
