I have a 17" green aro with 5 SD, 1 Fei Feng and 1 15" Ornate in a 7x2.5x2 tank, and I was thinking to add a 12" silver arowana with them, what do you guys think? will it works?

silver will not make past 1 day

dont think it will work. you're thinking of adding a smaller, less aggressive and less territorial arowana with the green. it may have worked had the silver been 17 and already in the tank and you were adding a smaller green.

Not likely it would work but the only way to find out would be to try. If you do decide to try you better have the means of separating the two immediately if things go bad.

i think it should work but i have never had any aros. its only a 5in difference so i don't think it will be a problem

no experience in the matter, then why even post? All your doing in giving bad advice.

the green is built like a tank and should be smaller in length than the silver. even then it is unlikely that it will work. its worth a shot though.

as some people said..you can try it out and but be ready to separate them if necessary..silvers are usually not aggressive and greens are aggressive..so it mostly wont work...good luck if u want to try it
