He is in need of a much larger tank than I can supply at this time, and I would rather give him away to someone who will enjoy him than put him down. I've had the fish for 3 maybe 4 years now and hes just like a pet dog so it will be very hard on me if I have to euthanize him but I already have the clove oil on hand if thats what it comes to.
120 gallons might be sufficient for now but ideally he should go into something over 180 gallons at his current size since he should be getting bigger. Currently hes ~18 inches long, 7 inches tall, and about 3 inches thick and hes maxed out my 90 gallon.
He has been in the tank alone for quite some time since he beat the crap out of the oscars we had with him about 5 inches ago so I wouldn't advise sticking him in a cramped tank with a bunch of other fish.
You would possibly need to bring your own tub to transport him in and if you are driving a considerable distance I may be able to help out with gas.
I just really need this fish gone within the next week ideally since i'll be leaving for Alaska very soon and will be gone all summer.
thanks for looking, tell all your friends!
