Ok so I NEED a bigger tank fast. I fully knew this when I got my 2 rays and silver aero. They are happy in a 55 right now but they are all small. They deserve and need a bigger tank as soon as I can. I am looking for a 180 or 200 in April. ( anyone in Ohio area have one?)
Well here is my plan tell me what you think.
I am going to build a stand for it so I can do it my way. So I will build it to accommodate what I need. I would love a pair of FX5s but $$$$$ wont be there after the tank and stand. So I want to turn my 37gallon tall into a sump for it? I will also be running a Fluvol 305 and 2 Marineland bio-wheel HOBs rated for 350 GPA (70 Gallon tanks).
Does this sound like a good plan or am I wasting my time with the sump?
MY other question is how hard is it to convert a FW sump to a SW sump?
I ask because my plan is to switch to a pair of FX5s when I have the money and space for both the big tank and my 55 again and make the 55 a reef tank so I would use the sump on it?
