In the next 6 months or so, I'll be getting a tank somewhere in the range of 180 to 240g, and I was considering my stock plan.
Here it is as of now:

1 Jardini Arowana
1 giant shoal of Polypterus Delhezi, around 10-15. (Gotta live up to the username!)
Numerous dither fish for the jar, I was thinking either silver dollars or bala sharks.
3-4 Ctenopoma Acutirostre
1 New Guinea Dat or Silver Dat

Are there any more fish I could add?

Oh, and yes, I do realize the jar will eventually be aggressive, but that is a risk I'm willing to take.

I'm open to most suggestions regarding different fish or the number of fish, however I would prefer to keep the jar and the delhezi's.

Thanks!

that be sweet a shoal of birchs. i would change ng dat to a couple of indos or wide bars. go with silver dollars lok better.

i would go w/ SD's, too but more because of how big balas get...would take up a huge amount of room w/ a school. def taking a huge risk w/ the jar as you already stated.

ya if the jar sees fit it will wipe that tank out...

if you get the 240 I would recommend getting a silver or black they are more tolerant of tankmates..

Thanks for the tips guys, but I already have the jar, so that really can't be avoided. However, if the jar should be come overly aggressive in the 180/240g, I would be able to fork out enough money to get it it's own tank.

Also, how many of the fish stated do you guys think I should get? I would prefer to have a whole lot of polys.

(Mainly talking about the polys, silver dollars, ctenopoma, and dats. I'm obviously only going to get one aro.)

if you can fork out the money... why not just avert the situation and have two tanks :) maybe two 180 rather than one 240... however the 240 would be pretty sweet.
