I bought a 180 off craigslist and 4 weeks into the cycle the old silicone busted. I tried repairing 3 times and new leaks would appear in other areas. I called it quits and ordered a new 180 from my lfs. I'm running a w/d trickle tower with 5 liters of eheim substrat pro. Return is a danner mag drive 18.

Stock list:
13-14" african aro
7" Ctenopoma kingslayae
4" leopard Ctenopoma
2x 6-8" Senegal
5" delhezi
7" teugelsi
8" palmas palmas
7" buettikoferi
6" palmas polli
7-8" weeksii
13" ornate
2x 12" rope fish (used to have 3 but one jumped out and turned into a candy cane)
7" lapradei (on her way out)

Enjoy!

Man that's a nice tank! I'm jealous of that stock list!

Nice african setup! Any future plans?

I was thinking about adding a shoal of schlibe intermedius when I upgrade, or perhaps some sort of mormyrid. Definitely a moke and a retro. I just added more black sand and some plastic plants which kicked up a lot of dust. Id like real plants but the aro rips apart anything ive tried. Ill post a few more pics when it clears up. When im done building my canopy i was thinking of some pothos plants to help reduce nitrates.

I bought the substrate from substrate source on eBay. 67 pounds midnight black, 27 pounds ash black, and 8 pounds of brick red. Ill update pics with cten and new arrangement when my moke and retro come on Thursday.
